Jordan Heywood
MSW, RSW (he/him)
The wound of feeling unseen goes deep – I get it because I’ve been there. Grounded in my lived experiences as a Black Caribbean cisgender man, the youngest child of immigrants, and a creative, sensitive soul, I understand the complexities of carrying unseen emotional needs in your family and society.
It’s the reason I’ve made it my life’s work to support those who are ready to heal – ready to witness yourself with compassion, trust your innate wisdom, and reclaim a sense of connection to yourself and the world around you.
If you’re ready to co-create a healing space that’s uniquely attuned to your needs and identity, let's get started with a free consult.

I understand the ache of feeling invisible and isolated in your emotional world. Growing up as a Black Caribbean child of immigrants, I learned to “hush” my often-unseen craving for emotional connection. When those emotional needs resurface for us as adults, we may blame ourselves and wonder, "What's wrong with me?".
Our journey will help you to see that you are meant to have needs. Rather than trying to fix the way you feel, we’ll attune to your emotions and needs, heal the pain of invalidation, and tend to the parts of you that long to be seen.
If you’re ready to embody your permission to feel and embrace the fullness of who you are, I invite you to reach out for a consultation. Let's begin the process of self-discovery and healing together.
