Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that the City of Burlington is situated upon the traditional territories of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Attiwonderonk, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation peoples. We further acknowledge that this territory  is covered by Treaty 3 3/4 and Brant Track Treaty 8. Today, the City of Burlington is home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island, colonially known as North America.
